Constant issues with the rainbow circle scrolling and scrolling and freezing....ALL THE TIME. Took my iMac to apple and everything checks out perfectly. Have re-installed firefox and the same issues!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like your CPU is being overworked.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Now I'm using google chrome and no issue! The problem is with firefox.
