Version 56.0.2 is the last release, with an add-on, that allowed tabs to be on the bottom, under the address bar. I will not switch to a newer version until this option is once again available. Any suggestions?

Addons has to be updated by the creator to work with the latest FF version. FF can't tell a Addon to update or not and if they don't then the creator is the party responsible to update or not. Is there a reason why being at top is a issue?

You can use code in userChrome.css to move the Tab bar to the bottom (below the Navigation Toolbar and Bookmarks Toolbar).
