Thunderbird keep resetting Junk setting when I have turned off, even puts in junk mu emails from my work account so in address book.
I turn off junk setting but they turn on a day later.

what antivirus / internet security suite are you using?
Avast Free. I thought it had stopped doing this but see it had gone back on and a lot of emails in junk not wanted there.
If I recall correctly Avast has a junk filter which it messes with things. Disable any junk, phishing controls or spam filtering in Avast. At this point they must be considered suspect.
Cannot find anything that mentions junk on Avast. It is the adaptive junk that keeps coming on partially
