With the new version of Thunderbird, I am unable to customise the buttons on an incoming email. For example, I lke the <Delete> button at the far left and not in its current location.

Is the customise option still there but somewhere else in Thunderbird or is the ability to customise missing?

My picture is of the Mail Toolbar, which can be customized. The buttons you refer to are on the Header Pane or header toolbar, and that is the one with the Known Issue.

Do you mean the buttons on the Mail Toolbar or the Header Pane? The buttons can be moved on the Mail Toolbar (see picture), but customization on the Header is broken (see Known Issues).

Thanks for your quick reply. To answer your question:

If I open an inbox email,it opens in a new tab. In the top right of this window are buttons:

<Reply> <Forward> <Archive> <Junk> <Delete> <More>

Previously, I could reorder these buttons but now I cannot. I prefer the <Delete> button at the left end; it suits my eyesight/brain better! I would like to see these buttons customisable again.

I think your link to the 'Known Issues' might relate to this if this is what is known as the Mail Toolbar.

It is not the Image Attachment that you included in your reply.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks

Graham Bennett, NZ
