i use firefox 7 but it freezes all the time!
when im in to facebook my browser(ff7) freezes all the time!its a very very very annoything thing and im start thinking to uninstall it.i click on a link and i see the same message ALL the time:mozilla firefox not responding.........so please do something or tell to uninstall it.i like firefox very much but this is my limits.

I tried many of the suggested "solutions" but they did not work for me. The only one that has worked was to download Firefox 8 beta and use it instead. Firefox 7 had other problems too (slow, inconsistent on downloading and displaying pdf files, etc.). Firefox 8 so far is great!
Glad using firefox 8 works, some of the problems, including the one about the maximum number of connections (affecting some Windows users) have been fixed in Frefox 8, and as you say it is available on the beta channel
