onenote2016 integration with thunderbird

Thunderbird 60.7.2 (32-bit) is used to replace outlook 2016. It runs great. However, it can't inegrate with OneNote 2016. I tried "Bring to OneNote" (https://www.onenotegem.com/) . However, it turns out it is not compatible with Thunderbird 60.7.2. So my question is that is there other way to integrate with OneNote 2016? If there is not possible, what other alternative to OneNote 2016?

Is the problem with Bring to OneNote for TB that you can't install the add-on, or it installs but doesn't work? I can install it in TB 60.7.2, and it does show its Options and menu items, but I can't tell if it works with OneNote since the latter isn't installed on my system.
Clip to OneNote is untested by me.
Hello, sfhowes, actually the installation is OK. but TB can't use it. The error message is shown below.
To avoid the error in your picture, which is how I installed it in TB 60, you have to open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor and double-click the pref. extensions.strictCompatibility to false, OK to close Options. That will allow the add-on to be installed or enabled, but as mentioned above, there's no guarantee it will work properly.
