Hi,

You can try deleting the places.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder after exiting Firefox. The file will be created at the next Firefox startup. Please note that this file stores the history and the bookmarks info. The entire history will be lost. You can restore the bookmarks later via Bookmarks (Alt + B) > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore. Even then, you can also take a backup of the bookmarks before deleting.
