How do I import local mail folders from apple mail ?

Hello,

I am switching from Apple Mail to Thunderbird and would like to import the mail from my local folders in Apple Mail. There is an import but it appears to be limited in nature and will not import my local folders.

Ok, seems it can't be done. I request the capability be added. Meanwhile, I will go back to using Apple mail.
