Your download was interrupted. - Unable to install
My Firefox wanted to update. I let it, it crashed in the middle.
Windows 7 Pro
Firefox wouldn't open after that. I checked my programs and features list and there was two versions listed as well as the background maintenance program. Pressing uninstall on both listed versions came back with the message along the lines of "this program has already been uninstalled would you like to remove it from the list..." So I removed both of those and the maintenance program since nothing was working anyway.
Now I cant install. Using the stub installer I get to the install bar and all the way to the end (past the downloading and into the installing) and it says "Your download was interrupted. Please click the OK button to continue." Screen shot attached.
I try the offline installer and it gets to the extracting window, fully loads that and then closes and nothing happens.
-There is nothing in the event logs.
-I've used ccleaner to clean up the registry and temp files etc.
-I've manually gone through the registry cleaning up stuff
-Removed the folder at %APPDATA%\Roaming\Mozilla
-Tried installing older versions
Is there a log somewhere I can see to find out whats actually wrong?

I've finally gotten FF to install. It appears another program on the system was broken (Tune Up Utilities 2011) and stopping FF from installing but not other programs so I didnt notice at first.

New info - I changed the install location and watched it "install" it never made the folder to install to.
And before someone asks yes I've tried running as Administrator.
