Why won't Firefox allow installment of Duck Duck Go as my search engine? I have tried and keep getting FireFox does not allow

God Morning, I have been trying for 2 days to install Duck Duck Go as my search engine BUT when I try I receive a notice that FireFox does not allow the download. WHY!!! I am sick of Bing since now when you check to turn home page to gray, the next time I go to Bing the photos appear.

I REALLY want to download Duck Duck Go but can't which I find very frustrating.

The en-US version of Firefox comes with DuckDuckGo. But if you have a different localized version of Firefox installed, DDG may not be already installed, but Firefox should allow it to be installed.
