Can't click in lower right corner [Firefox Portable]

I am using Firefox Portable 47.0.1 in safe mode and I am unable to click in the lower right corner of the screen.

When I click in this area, the Firefox window loses focus and nothing happens. Clicking back in the middle or somewhere else on the window restores focus.

The unclickable area is about 377x355 px when fully maximized, including scrollbar. The area does seem to change size (gets smaller) when resizing the window.

What in the world is causing this?

Chosen solution

Turns out, it wasn't just Firefox. It seems to have been caused by recently installing the Slack client. After closing that and restarting it, the area regained clickability. Still pretty bizarre, but I'm glad it's resolved.
