"Temporary failure" of delivery of a Thunderbird email means I have to resend it since "delivery was aborted after x hours"?

"Temporary failure" of delivery of a Thunderbird email means I have to resend it since "delivery was aborted after x hours"?

Chosen solution

I would have thought it was self explanatory.

The mail server was unable to deliver the mail after 6 hours and aborted it's attempt.

The message you got also probably offer more information like the server names, including the one telling you delivery failed. but without that detail and any further explanation we would be guessing why. Quite possibly the person you are emailing has a full inbox. What is certain is the message was not delivered.
