How do I allow other applications to send mail as me ?

I need a program to be able to access Thunderbird to send me emails when required . In other email programs in security functions there is usually a box to check that allows this . I am unable to find one .

You can not find what is not there.

I have no idea what you are doing, but MAPI is the windows usual method of sending mail and Thunderbird supports this.
