An App is a program. App is mostly used on cel phones and computer systems.


If you are talking about sync, sync is an option. Shut down sync from here.

Type about:accounts<enter> in the address bar.

Sync is optional. You can close the tab once you have created the Sync account if you do not want or can't add a mobile device.
