Can someone please tell me when this Firefox update setting first became available
I believe it was some time after Quantum was introduced, but can anybody tell me when or approximately when Mozilla first offered this settings option?

I think that these two choices have always been there and in the past there was a third choice to disable updating completely (currently this requires a policy).
