Log in issue
After I've successfully logged in, why does Thunderbird continue to indicate my login has failed and asks me to login again, repeatedly? Do you know how I can fix this?

What do you understand by 'log in'? How does TB indicate that it has 'logged in'? What has it 'logged in' to?
Please provide a screenshot of the error message that you are getting and indicate whether this is a POP3 or IMAP account and the Operating System you are using (Mac, Windows, Android and so on)
I open the web address of my email provider. I am presented with a login page. I enter my email account's credentials (username and password) in the text fields provided.
Thunderbird indicates that I am logged in by my ability to send and receive email and read email in my inbox.
I am using an up-to-date version of Windows 11.
Am I right in thinking that you are logging in to your mail account through a browser ("I open the web address of my email provider") and then you get Thunderbird throw up the error message?
Correct. I am accessing Thunderbird with Google.
