Running windows XP, SP3. firefox notifies me that there is an update, I say yes update. it downloads the up date, which FAILS, then it downloads the whole program, which FAILS. I then Manually down load and install - without a problem. this has happened over a number of updates. In the past it use to do the updates, without a problem. Checked all the answers in the help files, but they don't apply

I have the same problem exactly. In every previous version of FF, it updated normaly without any issue. Now, is the first time FF wont update. It failed to update, and then it failed to download the whole program. I am gonna download and install the program manually. Is there a solution to it?
