why is it that I cannot add an attachment into a Hotmail message?

My attachments won't load into my Hotmail E-Mails when I am using Firefox. Works fine with Explorer. Any ideas? It's only in Firefox and only with Hotmail

Go to the Add-Ons menu -> Plug-ins and disable Silverlight. Microsoft tells you to add it to "enhance" your Hotmail experience and the result is the disabling of the attachment function. Ironic.

Disabling silverlight fixed it, but it creates another problem: I cannot watch netflix and other streams wont work.

Any other fixes for this?
