Why does the source of the Firefox download come from random countries and are the copies from these places safe?

more options

I am trying to download Firefox, but want to make sure my copy is legitimate. Every time I go to download a copy, the source is a different server usually from another country.

Is this normal and are the copies from these servers checked for viruses and malware?

I ultimately got a copy from 3347-voxcdn.com.
