how can I make a shortcut to show/hide menu bar?

By default the menu bar is hiden, but often I need to acces firefox tools to check preferences, ad-ons, etc. I'd like to know an easy way to set the tools menú.

Pressing Alt+T from the keyboard will open the tools menu. Also other menus have shortcuts which are visible when you hold the Alt key.
