I have been using Firefox for 2 years. Suddenly my bookmarks have vanished. I need them back.

Firefox's start page has changed. I cannot find all my old bookmarks. The new icon on the "Apps" says Bookmarks, but none of my old bookmarks are there. How do I get them? Why do I need to import them. They are already with Firefox's bookmarks but not any more. I do not have a "File" on the Menu bar to open so can't even import them.

If the menu bar has gone, see the menu bar is missing article for details of how to restore it. That will also bring back the Bookmarks menu item. If the bookmarks are still missing, see the lost bookmarks article.
