After finishing with firefox and returning to the desk top and I need to open firefox again it will not open. It says firefox is already running and must be closed or restart your computer. I have tried to go the file and use "exit", "close" and just click the X in the upper right corner and all have the same result. It only started doing this a few days ago and has gotten worse everyday.

"Hanging at exit" is usually caused by an Extension or a Plugin.
