I have installed Firefox 4 Mobile on my N900 but I am not satisfied with it. How do I go back to the previous version?
While Firefox 4 is a suburb application, it does not play Flash Videos and there is no add-on for that, and therefore it prohibits me from watching videos on the various news sites I visit.
The previous version of Firefox Mobile supported a software version of Flash that was adequate for playing Flash videos, but I cannot find the previous version of Firefox anywhere on the web.
My question is: how can I install the previous version of Firefox mobile on my N900?
Chosen solution
To enable Flash in Firefox 4.0 for N900:
- Type about:config in the location bar and press return.
- Find the preference "plugin.disable".
- Tap on the toggle switch to set the value to "false".
If you still want to download the previous release, you can find it here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/1.1/maemo/
(Choose your language, for example "en-US" is U.S. English.)

Thank you very much. Apparently, every previous version of the mobile and desktop Firefox applications are available in Mozilla's FTP site.
I'd like to note that Flash in Firefox 4.0 does not work, even if the preference 'plugin.disable' is set to false.
