I can't get sound from firefox

Programmes load and play but I can't get sound while on any internet. Adobe flash player is up to date and I can get other programmes (like itunes, movie players etc) to play with sound no problem. I have checked the mixer volume is up when I visit a site.

I have already followed all the advice on the no sound on firefox page, any more ideas?
