Troubleshooting to fix problem of Firefox not allowing me to close individual tabs, or move from current one. It works OK in safe mode with add-ons disabled. Next step is to uncheck hardware acceleration. Your advice says OPTIONS then ADVANCED panel on GENERAL tab. I don't have an ADVANCED button in the general tab.

Your problem seems to be caused by an Add-on. So use the following link to find-out which add-on is causing the problem.

Check and tell if its working.
