Hello,

I'm currently running Firefox 8.0. When I go to "About Firefox", Firefox checks for updates and then displays "Firefox is up to date" even though the current release is 9.0.1.

How do I get it to update? I know I can download the installer myself but I'd like to know why Firefox isn't doing it by itself.

For your information, Thunderbird updated successfully to 9.0.1. And Firefox is set up to automatically check for updates.

Thanks!

Okay, nevermind. I tried for maybe the 10th time and it worked. I guess the update takes quite a while to be available or maybe the whole process is a little capricious...

Too bad I can't find a way to delete my whole post...
