I just got a new Mac and downloaded Firefox. I don't want to use Sync at all. I've tried everything, I got an account, unchecked everything, deleted it, got a new one, everything, but whether I've got an account or not, it's always asking to save my password when I log in someplace. I don't want an account. I want to uninstall it, disable it, anything.

hi gabbywalsh,

I think you have Firefox Sync confused with the Password Manager.

If you don't want Firefox to remember passwords at all, just go to Tools > Options > Security and uncheck the box that says Remember passwords for sites.

Hopefully this helps!
