What if I don't want to open a .pdf in Firefox? Our software users don't want to see a header that now appears on their .pdf documents since the update.

Our customers print .pdf invoices to send to patients. Since the Firefox 19 update, a header appears at the top of each page with the .pdf name and our URL. This also occurs for any reports that they print. Is there any way to get rid of this header?

hello, firefox 19 has introduced its own integrated pdf viewer - if you want to switch back to the plugin you've used before to view pdfs just go to firefox options > applications & scroll down and define the default action for the portable document format (pdf).
