There are a number of tabs right under the address bar -- starting with a "most visited" tab at the far left. One of my other tabs is called "Financial Websites". I have a number of financial institutions listed here. How do I remove one I don't need there any more? For me, I need step by step instructions please. Thank you. Mozilla help says hit the "X". I can't find the "X". I am using Firefox 24.0.

That is the Bookmarks Toolbar

On Mac you may have delete the bookmarks in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).

Open the Bookmarks Toolbar folder and either use the right-click context menu or the Organize menu (first button next to Forward arrow) to remove this bookmark.
