I get a pop up warning stating firefox30.0.4 image cannot be opened -- no mountable file systems?
I have OS X 10.6.8. I have downloaded the browser . THe instructions say the image will appear on screen then click and drag ect..There was no image on he screen only the warning ( warning not error) message. Could the image have timed out? I have dial up and I did not babysit the screen for the estimated 5hrs and 37 mins it would take to download. WHen sending a reply please understand I am a very good carpenter but not a tech guy

Here are some instructions on how to install the application. Hopefully this helps: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac (I would go through the installation process step-by-step, but I do not have a Mac.)
Is there any way that you can use a different = broad-band connection - to download Firefox to a USB Flash Stick and then install Firefox from there?
Like a maybe a friend's connection or using his computer, or maybe at the local public library? Your local library might already have it saved on their network and all they need to do is copy it to your USB Flash Drive.
I had a feeling my internet connection was the issue. A closer look showed I only downloaded 40 of the 71 MB. Thanks for your help, I do need the advise of those who know more about this stuff then I. the-edmeister said
