[I've tried this one before; I may have made a Misteak, However]
Ladies and Gents ---- I have certain email feeds that show up that I DON'T want to deal with. I've noticed an option that reads "Delete From POP Server in the "Perform these actions" sorting options [Filters] for Incoming Mail.
Here's my question: [A] Can this be used to delete an Incoming Email BEFORE even downloading, OR [B] Is there some OTHER way to throw something obnoxious out before downloading and THEN examining it?
I'm having difficulties receiving things, here; Please reply to The Gray Cat << tmc@att.net >>.
Thankx! The Gray Cat

You need an external app to read before a POP account downloads. Although the mozilla folks can't give any recommendations, I can as a volunteer. You might investigate the app called Mailwasher. It's free for one account and does exactly what you want, lets you check the new mail on server and select delete for the ones not wanted. I've used for several years and it works -and it can be taught to automatically send messages from selected senders or domains to trash so that they're never downloaded.
If you don't want to deal with these messages at all, see what filtering options you have at the server.
