Why does thunderbird show 'details' of every message (have to press hide details).
All of the messages I open now show the details under the sender's email address (from, to, folder, date, subject). This is recent... I must have clicked something that I was not supposed to. Thanks for your help.

From the Menu Bar select View-Headers-Normal
No menu bar? Press the alt key.
