renamed two address books yesterday and both just disappeared. Now have lost 200 contacts. Where did they go? How can I get them back. I backed up a Thunderbird folder several months ago but wouldn't know what to use in that to recreate the old address books. Do NOT want to lose any other books.

Try to restart TB and open aagin address book. And back up your address books by exporting them in files (by menu Tools / Export). Pierre
