I cannot access my Thunderbird email and now would like to just leave the account dormant (with v little in it) - will this be automatically closed at some point in the future by Mozilla? If so, when? Thanks

There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account. Thunderbird is email client software that installs and runs on your computer.

Email accounts are issued by email providers. You need to check with your provider on their business practices.
