Could you expand on your issue? Do you mean the URLs of websites that drop down when you start to type a web address in the bar? If so, do you want to make them autofill or stop the autofil? Is this about Firefox or the Google search bar, which has autofill?

Check your preferences in Privacy. Click on Tools, then Options, then Privacy, or click on the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner. There are options under Location bar to leave on or turn off the autofill.

The word autofill can have many meanings!

In addition to the address bar, you might be thinking of:

  • Filling in your username and password on login forms
  • Filling in common form fields (e.g., name, address)

For logins, Firefox has a built-in Password Manager (Password manager - Remember, delete, change and import saved passwords in Firefox), but if you use multiple devices and multiple browsers, a cloud-based service might work better for you. Is there a particular feature/service you need help using in Firefox?

For form filling, Firefox remembers past entries, but these aren't available on new sites you visit. I suggest looking for a highly rated add-on if you need to fill a lot of forms.
