I am currently using V38.3 of thunderbird on win 7 pro and I cannott write a message or reply to an e-mail, I can only open my e-mail folders in a new tab it does not automatically switch between folders as it normally would do. I suspect that there may be a problem with an add-on however when I try to re-start thunderbird with add-ons disabled through the help menu nothing happens. So far I have tried to clean install but it has not helped. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for getting back, this is where I did the clean install from in the first place. I think the problem may well relate to an account issue, the user in question is on a domain, when I logon through the administrator account on the local machine none of the above problems occur. Any advise greatly appreciated!
