Recently bought a new Panasonic camera. Included in the purchase was a cd with a program called Photo fun Studio 8.3. After I installed the program my pictures downloaded just fine. My problem is that when I tried to email a picture it is rejected and I get this message "The default e-mail software does not support the automatic attachment function or cannot run. Check the setting of e-mail software". My question is how do I check the settings for the e-mail software? Thanks for any help.

Few programs of this sort bother to even try to support Thunderbird. I don't know of any settings in Thunderbird that will make this work.

What will work is to start an email message and then attach to it your pictures.

Guess I am a slow person but I can't figure out how to attach the picture after I start the email. When I click on attachment on Thunderbird it automatically goes to My Pictures instead of going to the PhotoFun pictures.

I wouldn't tolerate such a program storing my pictures in its private place. I have a folder named "My Pictures" and that's where I'd look for any of my pictures.

I suggest you look through Photo Fun Studio's settings or preferences and see if in future it will allow you to save pictures to a location of your choosing, so you'll know where to find them. While you're there, look for where it puts them right now. Note it down and you can browse to that location when trying to email your pictures.

Your operating system almost certainly has some method for searching for a given type of file. Searching for "*.jpg" (Or maybe "*.jpeg") should discover where Photo Fun Studio has put them for you.
