Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, any time I open an email, close an email, or change folders, my computer jumps back to the Windows screen, instead of staying in Thunderbird. It is extremely annoying.

Some win10 users have seen this and it was caused by Windows screen background or saver.

Turn off the Windows slide show. Issue being tracked in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1258152#c1
Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. I keep going back to the main Windows screen after every operation in Thunderbird.
