I am trying to open a local html file using firefox on my galaxy s7 edge. The html file is a 360 VR that chrome doesn't support, but it opened just fine on my galaxy note 3, running an older OS and using firefox.

when U select the html file to open it, the list of suggested apps doesn't include firefox. On my previous note 3, I could select firefox and it would just open... perfect. But with the new OS (6.0.1) on my S7, I don't have that option.

Is there a workaround or is this a bug that needs fixing?? see the attached image to see what I mean.

thanks, Jamie

A workaround would be file:///sdcard/download will show the default Android download folder. If you need a different path then you will need to provide the linux style path and prepend file://
