Why does a new install of Firefox not sync?

Did a fresh install of Windows 10 on secondary PC. Installed Ffirefox and as usual forgot password so changed it on my primary PC then entered the iformation on the secondary PC. I await, in vain I believe, for Firefox on the secondary PC to sync with the primary PC which has all the extensions, bookmarks, home pages in place.

Any advice?

Resetting the Sync password removes your data from the Sync server. see the screenshot for the warning message

Sync the first PC again to get your data back on the Sync server. Once that is done the 2nd PC should then synchronize.

For some reason it synced after I installed Classic Theme Restorer. Thanks for your help.
