About 500000 files in cache2\entries
In my Firefox profile there ist a folder called cache2. In this folder there is another folder called entries. In this folder there are more than 500 000 files. Deleting this folder needed more than 1 hour Why does firefox not delete such files when i clear the cache?

Hello, sorry, but there are not 500 000 files but 2 500 000 files and 65 GB of Harddisk-Space. I have to look how to delete this folder because Windows hangs and hangs and hangs, Greetings
Firefox should remove files in the cache2 folder when you clear the cache. If Firefox failed to do this then you may have other software that keeps a handle on files or has corrupted the index files. You should never let other software make changes to files in the profile folder, but always use built-in means or do it manually yourself if you know what you are doing. It is quite easy to corrupt your Firefox profile folder.
Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder, so make sure to look in the correct location. Location used for the main profile in "AppData\Roaming" that keeps your personal data.
