How can I find out which plugins and extensions work in 52 for XP
How can I find a list of Add-ons that will work with FF 52.Oesr? Since FF 51 is still working fine and I don't know which Add-ons will work in the new FF version for XP I thought I'd ask if there is a way to check my system. Before suggesting I buy a new Computer let me explain. My favorite Windows interface is 98. XP is second best. If I could install the 98 interface on 10 I'd be there in an instant. I have a 10 machine, but the interface is lousy. It's going to take hours to research how to fix the problems I've encountered and it will still be a lousy interface. So I just want to stay with an old reliable.

I followed your suggestion and went to the individual pages. Of the three that mattered one said they were not able to move forward and the other two from what I could see said nothing. So it seems that getting rid of the nag screen is all that's left for now.

I am not aware of a comprehensive list of what differences you might find between Firefox 51 and Firefox 52 in the realm of add-on compatibility.
The ESR version of Firefox 52 should run the same plugins as Firefox 51.
With respect to extensions, each update has some changes that can create issues for older extensions (i.e., not updated in more than 12 months). Since there are so many extensions and the range of issues is diverse, you may need to look at their pages on the Add-ons site for the ones important to you, and check the reviews for the past 8 weeks to see what you learn.

Not able to move forward? Was that about the change coming in Firefox 57 when Firefox will no longer run traditional XUL extensions, only extensions that use the newer and more limited WebExtensions API?
Anyway, to see actual user feedback from the past eight weeks under Firefox 52, you can scroll down to the reviews. The other info on the page often isn't updated regularly.
The extension I was referring to is Form History Control. The XUL format seems to be the problem. As to the other two, No script and Open Tab next to current, I found nothing on there pages indicating how they will handle 52 ESR which is the only version I'm concerned with. On my win 10 machine I'm happy to upgrade as long as Mozilla doesn't rewrite the FF interface. I'm staying with XP because of the Windows interface. I'm not sure what review page you're referring to.
Firefox 52 ESR is a small upgrade from Firefox 51. The changes coming in Firefox 57 are a completely different matter.
If the reviews halfway down the Add-ons' respective pages do not mention compatibility problems with Firefox 52, then there probably aren't any -- people are very quick to post reviews when extensions break.

Firefox adapts to the general features of Microsoft's theming, so of course the minimize, maximize/resizable, and close buttons looks different between Windows 10 and Windows XP. But I'm sure you're already very familiar with the differences.
