Out of Office Message Filter
I was able to set the out of office filter but it sends the message indefinitely. How do I get it to send just one time to the same email address.

The keeps replying to the incoming message from the same email address over and over and NOT JUST ONCE. See attached.
There is a possibility of a loop condition where A sends a message to B and B replies to A with an out of office reply. In the meantime, A has also gone away and left an auto reply, so it replies to B with its own auto reply. B of course replies to A, and so on ad infinitum.
There are precautions to help avoid this, but they don't always work. Could this be happening? Is your auto reply doing a copy or forward to anyone else?
Another possibility is that the incoming message is malformed in a way that prevents Thunderbird from signing it off as downloaded. So it leaves the message on the server marked as unread to deal with next time. And the next time, it does another auto reply...
