Windows updated & I can't make attachmnts to email w/ Firefox

Windows updated last week & I can't make attachments to Optimum email w/ Firefox. My OS is MS Windows 7. Firefox is 61.0.1I can receive them & dot attach download them from others and forward them I cannot attach anything when I am using my Optimum email with Firefox

If I use a different browser, like Chrome I can make attachment to email so I do not think the error lies with my email application. Any thoughts? Thanks Ellen

According to a user in another thread, this is caused by the update known as KB4023057 (unable to attach files to emails using optonline server).

I don't know what that update does...

Oh... that KB number is for Windows 10, so it's probably something different for Windows 7.
