"support.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate". Firefox has not connected to this website. What is Mozilla support if this continues?

Where and what versions of Firefox may I find downloads without this conflict? Nice try at guessing the browser on this machine but it must be apparent that this is not the Firefox version or operating system on this machine that has the issue of security certificate validation as if it did Firefox would have prevented connection to support.mozilla.org because according to some Firefox versions support.mozilla.org does not have a valid security certificate. The system where the security issue became problematic was Windows 7 running a Firefox 62.0.2 (64 bit) version downloaded September 22, 2018 with Windows Internet Explorer. So 62.0.2 has a problem with Google and Mozilla when attempting a Download Helper plug-in download thru Firefox 62.0.2. The version on this machine is Version 59.0.2 (64 bit) for Lunix Mint. Just looking for a work around. Sorry no data it's on another machine with a Firefox browser version that prevents connection to support.mozilla.org.

Did you make sure to uninstall any FF previously and deleting the Mozilla folder for clean fresh install.

Neither the current Firefox 62.0.2 version or the support.mozilla.org site has any such issues.

There could be different reasons why you are getting secure connection issues on https:// like wrong date/time set on the OS or a antivirus inserting its own certificate and causing problems instead of helping.

Hi, There is security software like Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender, ESET & sometimes McAfee that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate. or is one of their scanners or the have deleted a Firefox file which can cause the issue. See there forums.

Download from here : https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Uninstall on Win10 and reinstall with Full Version Installer.
