I'm going to have to perform a System Restore. What will happen to Thunderbird e-mails of last several days?

I've developed a problem that will necessitate doing a System Restore back to the date something installed itself on my computer. The only thing is, I just downloaded a large number of Juno e-mails into Thunderbird which are likely to disappear with the restore operation.

I've copied my two profile folders to my D drive. Now I just need to know how to restore those e-mails. Do I just copy what I've stored on D drive back to profile folder on C drive?

Major headache. Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Sounds about right, if you have copied everything in the Thunderbird folder in appdata

Happily I was able to find a solution that did not necessitate a System Restore after all. But the exercise was useful in figuring out how to back up my Thunderbird files for future.

Thanks.
