I lost my tabs by not opening firefox in six months
As I expected to resume my old browsing habits once i could buy a decent compu I started using a borrowed one but not signed in in firefox in a little more than six months. Today I signed in again as I now have a decent MacBook Pro and found that the sync option does nothing. Are they lost forever or is there a way to recover them. I can see my old (more than 6 months old) history in an ancient windows machine but no luck in opening my tabs in there either.

When you signed in to your Firefox Account did you get any of your data thru Sync?
Like bookmarks and username/passwords.
yes... my bookmarks were there..and passwords too
