Sync Moile with PC
Hello, I always have Sync turned on, on my Laptop (PC) and my iPhone. When I reinstalled Firefox, everything was synced except my bookmarks. I have all my bookmarks on my iPhone. How do I get my bookmarks back on my Laptop? Can I somehow export my bookmarks on my iPhone, which has Firefox mobile, and email them to myself on my Laptop? I would really appreciate it very much if anyone could assist me this this issue. Thank you.

Okay!!! I decided to do some thinking outside the box. I downloaded FireFox 69.0, I had the latest BETA Firefox. I did a complete uninstalled FireFox BETA, I deleted all the Mozilla folders in the AppData\Roaming, AppData\Roaming\LocalLow and AppData\Local. Installed FireFox 69.0, and everything came back, including ALL my BOOKMARKS!!
Please, let the Developers know they have a serious issue in the latest beta version of Firefox.
Lastly, please let me know the outcome of this issue with Syncing of Bookmarks. Thank you everyone for their comments and suggestions.

I assume that this is about using Sync as a backup and that you want to recover your old data after you reinstalled Firefox, but you didn't backup your personal data on beforehand. Sync isn't designed to be used as a backup, so the outcome is undetermined and uncertain.
If you only reinstalled Firefox then your previously used Firefox profile folder should still be there and found automatically by Firefox unless you removed your personal data as well
I don't know of a way to recover bookmarks from a mobile device as it isn't possible to access the profile folder on mobile and exporting bookmarks isn't supported.

I use my iPhone (mobile) more than my laptop. I only use my laptop on weekends. Since my iPhone contains all my bookmarks and I have SYNC turned on, shouldn't my bookmarks be SYNC to my laptop on the weekend? So, if I get a new laptop, when I install FireFox, shouldn't my bookmarks be SYNCed as well? My iPhone has all the updated links, not my Laptop. Even if I backed up my bookmarks, it wouldn't have a weeks worth of updated and new bookmarks.
If you are unable to help me could you elevate this to one of the Developers who know about this.
Lastly, to FredMcD, I hope that you could figure out what is going on. I do NEED my bookmarks from my iPhone to be synced with my laptop. I don't do backups of every program I have data on because I don't have the time or space to save everything on a weekly basis. I've attached a screenshot of my bookmarks on my iPhone. Again, I would really appreciate if FredMcD could assist me. Thank You. Dave

Thank you. This is from my Laptop Firefox:
Looks good. Can you do the same on the iPhone?
Also, make sure the bookmarks option is turned on in sync.

Do what from my iPhone, about:support? Yes I have both my iPhone and Laptop sync on for everything, including Bookmarks. I'll get back to you with the output from my iPhone.
Lastly, could it have anything to do with my account, which isn't saving my bookmarks? Thank You.
On your iPhone;

I attempted, but nothing came up on the iOS version of Firefox.
second screen shot.
Third screen shot of my SYNC settings for Firefox for iOS. Thank you. Dave
I'm out of ideas.
Is there nothing in the Mobile Bookmarks folder on the laptop?
You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there is a recent log available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.
You can also try to open some bookmarks in tabs on the mobile device to see whether they end up under Synced Tabs (Firefox Account toolbar button or sidebar).

That was very good work. Well done.
Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.{web link}
I use an add-on that makes backups of my user profile, Just In Case.
Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the current Firefox.
Every now and then, open the profile folder and create a copy of the current profile as is to another location on your hard drive. This way you will have a backup.
If you do this each day, you will not lose much data. This should be done with Firefox Closed.
Note: In case you need to restore from these backups, you may need to overwrite old or corrupted files.
