I often need info from photos I’ve saved earlier. The photos are dated but my history is not. Other than ‘last week’ and ‘last month’. ‘Last month’ includes all time. Makes finding the original websites impossible.

Unfortunately the history is only dated that way in iOS. I'd suggest sending feedback to the dev team about making it possible to filter the history to a finer degree:
