Video on YouTube freezes

For about a couple weeks now, videos on YouTube have been freezing on the browser and I don't understand why. It happens no matter the video quality, even if the video uses extremely simple graphics. And music videos are somehow not affected. Oo Also, the audio keeps playing while the video is frozen. I haven't changed any settings or seen any updates to either my Fire tablet or the FF mobile browser in the time period.
